Sa Abril 26, Byernes, magatipon ang mga local athletes, sports standouts, coaches kag school heads gikan sa 12 ka mga private universities kag colleges sa Negros island sa STI West Negros University sa Bacolod City, para sa opisyal na nga pagbukas sang pinakauna nga NIPRISAA.
Ang inaugural launch magasugod paagi sa isa ka misa, las-7:30 sang aga.
Antes ang opening sang Byernes, ang National PRISAA kag Philippine Sports Commission maga-introduce sang ila nga Sports Grassroots Program kadungan sang National Grassroots Sports Summit-Bacolod Leg sa School of Basic Education (SBE) Building sang STIWNU, las-9 sang aga tubtob las-4 sang hapon.
Magatambong sa summit si Commissioner Edward L. Hayco sang Philippine Sports Commission upod sanday Prof. Elbert “Bong” Atilano, Executive Director sang PRISAA, Mr. Laureano Santos, Secretary-General sang National PRISAA kag Dr. Raymund Lapating, PSC Consultant for the Grassroots Program.
Ginpahayag ni Dr. Ryan Mark Molina, executive vice president and chief operations officer of STIWNU, kag second vice president of the National PRISAA, nga tinutuyo sang summit nga ma-promote ang sports development programs bilang venues para sa personality development kag character building sang mga student athletes.
Magadangat sa 14 ka mga sports events sa nagkalain-lain nga venues lakip na ang STIWNU, University of St. La Salle, University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, Panaad Park and Stadium, SM City Bacolod kag Ayala Capitol Central, Abril 26-30.
Patigayunon naman ang vocal solo, vocal duet, and oration competitions kasunod sang opening ceremony. Samtang mangin finale ang Search for Mutya ng NIPRISAA.
