Nagapati si Negros Occidental Third District Representative Javier Miguel Benitez nga dapat na nga ibalik ang probisyon para sa open government data sa General Appropriations Act.
Suno kay Benitez, sa idalom sang Section 25 sang GAA sadtong tuig 2015, ginasiling nga, “Departments, bureaus, and offices… shall adopt a policy of openness for all datasets created, collected, processed, disseminated, or disposed through the use of public funds… Openness means that datasets published by agencies shall be machine-readable, in open formats, and released with open licenses.”
